PINHOLE CAMERA
The objective of this wood shop course was to “create a wooden box with a lid.” I decided that I wanted that box to be a camera, and the lid to be a Poloriod 545 Land Film Holder. Essential to making a pinhole camera was understanding its components, the shutter, film holder, and storage for more film. The camera had to be designed so that no light could get in, so a series of dadoes were implemented for its assembly. A rotatable brass shutter and lens are inlaid into the removable cover.Duration: Semester
