Things I Saw on My Bike Ride was a self-published zine to raise money for Drift West - a service bike ride through the affordable housing nonprofit Bike and Build that I completed in August 2022.

A winning essay and portfolio from a 5,000 dollar travel grant competition. The essay and proposed trip aims to study how architecture responds when it has to assimilate to technology from outside of its own context. It is inspired by the book In Praise of Shadows by Jun’ichero Tanizaki.
